Mothers and fathers are rising to the challenge of #COVID19 with incredible strength, love and care. So today, on Global Day of Parents, we want to pay tribute to families around the world who are making the #EarlyMomentsMatter.⠀ ⠀ In Indonesia, five-year-old Etno carries his backpack around the house, desperately wanting to go back to kindergarten. But, with a big hug and a smile, his mum Fauziah makes him feel better about staying safe and healthy at home.⠀ ⠀ In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Igor and his daughter, Lana, exercise as a team - finding fun new ways to stay active in the house and bond through play.⠀ ⠀ In Côte d'Ivoire, Roger helps his three-year-old boy, Paul, to learn his A-B-Cs and 1-2-3s. Child care and schools may be closed in much of the world but, thanks to parents, learning never stops.⠀ ⠀ In Spain, Auntie Marta and her nephew, Max, play make-believe trumpets together. It’s great to see other family members helping out parents right now - particularly with music and imagination, which do wonders for a child’s growing brain.⠀ ⠀ In Armenia, Arthur enjoys some fresh fruit with his son, Daniel, helping to build healthy habits that could last a lifetime.⠀ ⠀ And in the US, Sophia helps Luka with his maths assignment, supporting her son’s education while she continues to work from home.⠀ ⠀ Parents everywhere are proving, more than ever before, that you truly have the most important job in the world. We're sending you all of our thanks and best wishes for a very happy Global Day of Parents.
